My name is Maria Abercrombie. I'm currently enrolled in the Master of Technological Futures degree at academyEX and I seek your help in meeting the requirements of the project component of my research.Brief overview of the project
My project aims to understand how we can increase technology in Gisborne.
Technology has become a vital tool in modern society, enabling us to communicate efficiently, access information, and conduct business.
After deep research and reflection on the digital divide, I decided to focus my project on technology adoption in small businesses in Gisborne. Of course, to understand the current scene better, I need to know why companies are not adopting technology, but also, I also want to understand more about the businesses that are currently using it.You will go through a simulation of the proposed solution "The Abundant Bay Map". Which includes a survey, the result of the survey and a prototype of the app.After you go through this simulation, I will ask you to kindly give me feedback about the process. You can do this by email, we can go to a cafe and you can give me feedback or however its better for you.This data will be confidential and private.
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to sign the consent form before. You can still change your mind if you wish to withdraw from the project. You can contact this independent email at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns or wish to withdraw.
This will have no impact on you, and we still very much appreciate your help. However, because of our schedule, we ask that you withdraw before our time together.
